OWNER / DIRECTOR

 

As the new owner of BA Accounting & Advisory, Sherri is committed to continuing to provide friendly, personalised service and high-quality technical advice. She is proactive, energetic and passionate about all aspects of accounting, taxation and business improvement.

Sherri is a local tax accountant who grew up in Prenzlau and moved to Bathurst to study at Charles Sturt University where she started her career as an Accountant. She has extensive experience with:

  • Complex corporate structures involving family businesses and self-managed superannuation funds.
  • Inter-generational business succession planning and transition implementation.
  • Rural and primary production issues including cash flow planning and management.
  • Accounting and operational software advisory, set-up and training
  • Business advisory including appraisals, benchmarking and cash flow forecasting.

As a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent, Sherri brings a practical and solutions-focused approach to accounting and enjoys working with motivated and entrepreneurial people and organisations.

Sherri has an active lifestyle and outside of work she enjoys going to Gym and drinking coffee.

GREG BARD

EXECUTIVE MANAGER / DIRECTOR

 

While Greg enjoys working with our clients, getting the best results possible for their tax returns, he loves to spend time on his real passion of data controls and systems.  He can often be found lost in a spreadsheet trying to automate the most complex data organisations.

Being a long-time business manager, he brings his knowledge and experience to the BA Accounting and Advisory experience, aiming to ensure continued high-quality work and customer service.

In recent years, Greg was a stay-at-home dad for his two children while managing he and his wife’s accounting firm, Bard and Associates.

Since purchasing BA Accounting & Advisory, Greg has worked at creating a positive culture within the business and demonstrates a commitment to the needs of his staff and clients through open and honest communication.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys reading, going to the gym, and getting lost in projects around the house.

CHLOE aITKEN

OFFICE MANAGER

 

As Office Manager, Chloe is the first point of contact for all BA Accounting and Advisory enquiries and is the friendly face you’ll hear and see when contacting BA Accounting. 

Chloe moved to the Lockyer Valley area in 2022 and is enjoying life in the valley with her young family.  She brings with her extensive experience in the real estate industry and is now putting these skills to good use in the accounting field.  Her role is to keep everything running smoothly in the office, managing the workload, and assisting you in resolving or allocating your enquiries appropriately.

Outside of her work, Chloe is busy mum of three who enjoys family time and cooking.
